Finance

Oversee and develop policies and procedures for general accounting, investments and endowments. Help prepare required non-profit organizations annual reports for Wisconsin and federal taxing agencies.  (Background in accounting investing or finance)

Fundraising/Outreach

Develop fundraising programs, events, strategies, and goals to support the group’s mission of land protection and professional management.   Increase community awareness and excitement through the web site, brochures, and other public outreach activities. (Background in fundraising or general enthusiasm for the cause.)

Volunteers & Education

Seek and engage a group of volunteers to assist in educational, fundraising, and stewardship events. Lead tours of SEWLC properties or prepare programs for schools or civic organizations.  Assist with land management projects while learning on-the-ground techniques for enhancing restoration projects. Activities may include brush removal, weed eradication, seed collection or prescribed burns.
